Craig Williams, the Republican candidate trying to oust our beloved Joe Sestak from the 7th congressional district, raised $280,000 in the second fundraising quarter of 2008. Sestak, the one-term incumbent, raised $436,000 in the same quarter, and has a considerable war chest, $2.59 million.
Sestak is quite popular in the mostly-Republican district, and has spent much more on staff and mailings than Williams.
