The New York Times offers a great tool to compare the advertising spending, by media market, of different 527s, the candidates, and their parties. It even lets you view the individual ads they’ve released. Now that’s cool.
Just think, I’d never have known what Barack thinks about Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and the Sermon on the Mount, if [...]

This article came to my attention via one of my friends’ facebook pages the other day, so thanks to her for posting it.
If there is anything that proves that McCain is the enemy of the working class, it is the fact that [...]

Just days after Barack Obama’s campaign released one new ad concerned national security and foreign policy (particularly highlight Barack Obama’s bipartisan work on this issue), his campaign has released yet another 30 second spot. The spot names a few issues that polls have shown voters are concerned about, such has nuclear proliferation, America’s reliance on [...]

The McCain campaign has posted their first “contrast” ad to be aired on television this election cycle. The ad takes direct aim at Barack Obama, alluding to his “flip-flops” and inexperience in Foreign Policy, specifically regarding Iraq and Afghanistan. So much for “new politicians” huh?
The ad is pretty pointed, and will certainly be more effective [...]

The John McCain campaign today released a new 8 minute “documentary” juxtaposing videos of Obama making statements on Iraq with other videos that are seemingly contradictory (you can judge for yourself). The ad is called “The Obama Iraq Documentary: Whatever the Politics Demand.” The ad is a clear swipe at Obama as a “flip-flopper,” a [...]

Barack Obama’s campaign has released a new ad in 18 swing and once-red states focusing on the key issue of national security. The impetus for the new ad is likely the fact that national security is one of Obama’s weaker issues in public opinion, and Obama’s trying to change that early in the general election [...]

Obama’s joining the likes of Viagra and Enzyte. No, he’s not taking them (as far as I know), but he’ll be featured on a car in a NASCAR race just as the other two are. Barack Obama is the first candidate to take such a step, and is a surprising candidate to do so, because [...]

A new radio spot released by the Obama campaign attacks McCain for false accusations against Barack Obama leveled in radio ads in the same markets. The ad features two people, presumably husband and wife, discussing McCain’s ad, and then citing multiple sources asserting that it’s fallacious. The ad seems to me to be pretty well [...]

John McCain has released a new ad in states bordering Airzona. The ad, targeted at Hispanic Americans features a video from a Repubican Debate in which John McCain expounds upon the service of Hispanics in America. The ad doesn’t say anything substantive, doesn’t lay out a position, or even say anything about the candidate himself. [...]

John McCain released his new ad to a limited market in Washington D.C. today. The ad, entitled “Love,” attempts to showcase John McCain’s love of his country. It begins by reminding us of McCain’s war-hero status, and then takes the tact frequently employed by the his campaign: that he’s a maverick.
The ad ends with a [...]
