Why are you a Democrat?: Because I believe in freedom of speech (and with it, the obligation to criticize the government when that government is doing wrong), freedom of worship (for all people, of all faiths or none at all), freedom from want (including protecting Social Security and keeping our economy strong), and, most of all, freedom from fear (be it fear of terrorist attacks, fear of being unable to get adequate medical care, or fear of what out government is doing).
Siblings: My sister, Nora, is a sophomore at Earlham and my brother, Joe, is a sophomore in high school.
Pets’ names: Two cats, one named Mikey (because he’ll eat anything, thus his size) and one named Fitz, short or Fitzgerald, after both the author and the Plamegate prosecutor.

Favorite political movies: The American President, The War Room, and Unprecedented. I also have an unhealthy addiction to The West Wing.
